madrasas as educational institutions received extra demands in adjusting the
times this Paculgowang MI Tarbiyatunnasyiin besides leadership is a very
important thing in the madrasa. Leadership deals with principal problem in
improving learners' reading interest effectively and efficiently. Positive
leader behaviors that can encourage and motivate students to love books, but a
leader must also provide a positive example. Soepardi, defines leadership as
"the ability to move, influence, motivate, encourage, directing, advising,
guiding, ordering, commanding, forbidding, and even punish, and building with
the intention that the human family as a media management willing to work in
order to achieve effective administration and efficient (E. Mulyasa, 2007:
108). The focus of this research is the problem on How to principal leadership
in shaping the culture of reading in MI Tarbiyatun Nasyi'in, How to shape a
culture of reading in the students as well as the MI Tarbiyatun Nasyi'in What
factors supporting and inhibiting factors in shaping the culture of reading in
MI Tarbiyatun Nasyi'in Paculgowang. The purpose of this study to determine the
principal leadership in shaping the culture of reading, reading culture forms
of learners and supporting factors and inhibiting factors in shaping the
culture of reading learners in MI Tarbiyatun Nasyi'in Paculgowang Jatirejo
Diwek Jombang. Research on principal leadership in creating a culture of
reading (case study in MI Tarbiyatunnasyiin Paculgowang) conducted by the
authors is the field of qualitative methods (grounded). In this case the
researchers used three ways to collect data were interviews, observation, and
documentation. And data analysis techniques that researchers use of data
reduction, the data display, verification. The study of principal leadership
studies at MI Tarbiyatunnasyiin Paculgowang-democratic and collective meaning
as the central leader and accommodate the aspirations and opinions of the staff
/ teachers to deal with in order to achieve the vision and mission that is in
the madrassa. Principal role as a coordinator and as a principal motivator
because it must be able to empower teachers and staff including the resources
and potential of the teachers and staff and to carry out their duties,
including programs to cultivate reading madrasa environment. Tarbiyatunnasyiin
reading culture at the school can be quite high due to the leadership of
principal has a policy that all teachers are required to create lesson plans
that include activities in teaching reading. Finally, I can only hope to God,
hopefully this study can be useful for all of us and as well as a conceptual
contribution to the next research
